From time to time people ask me about various bible translations.  Because most of us do not read Greek and Hebrew, we need to have the text translated into English.  If you have ever translated anything into English (or tried) you know that it is not an easy task.  Sentence structure rarely carries over word for word and idioms from one culture are not familiar in another.  Therefore, when you translate you have to interpret.... and there in lies the variation in Bible translations.
