Funny thing is when I got home that afternoon I flipped on the Animal Planet and watch a special on ants in Africa that are so into storing up food for the future they have been known to kill every living thing in their path - insects, rats, pets, and even people!  Yikes!

In 2008 I was fortunate enough to get my hands on some pretty good books.  Maybe someday I will write a post on the top 10 reads of 2008, but who knows.  One of the books I read in 08 that helped me in my "work" is called Getting Things Done  by David Allen.  You can read about it here.  More than any other organizational book this one really helped me get things dialed in.  I have never been more efficient and effective in my life.  And the really cool thing is I have managed to stick with it for quite some time.

So as you consider the ant and your new year ahead of you maybe you could benefit from this resource.
