HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Another great memory for 2008 is actually a combination memory.  This Summer we took 2 missions trips to help people in need.  

Peru 2008 - We went to Peru for the second time in our history to help those living in a garbage dump.  I was a part of that trip and it was humbling to see how God brings a team of people together to make a difference in the lives of people who live hundreds of miles away and who speak a different language.

Mexico 2008 - Under the leadership of Taylor, our Students Pastor, a group of high school and junior high students went to Mexico and made a huge building a home for a family in need.  They were so motivated to get this house done, some of the leaders took a second trip to install windows and doors!  

Both these trips were impressive and reminded me of one of my favorite quotes...
