Another most memorable moment from 2008 happened in late March.  Under the leadership of Mark Moffatt a big group from Journey headed off to Maggie's Place to help them with some cleaning, landscaping, and serving of lunch.  I was soooo proud of Journey that day!  We planted tons of veggie plants, weeded the yard like crazy, and cleaned places that had not been cleaned in a long time.

As you read the Scripture you will see that God cares for the poor and cares if we care about the poor as well.  I am so grateful the people of Journey have a heart that is close to the heart of God in this way!
