For the next few days I am going to attempt to put into words some of Journey's Top 5 Moments from 2008.  They will not necessarily be in any order, but hopefully they were as memorable for you as they were for me.

One of the most memorable moments from Journey in 2008 for me came in the middle of our series called Puzzled.  In that series we took questions from the audience and came up with a series and we also did a Q&A time after the message in a Phil Donahue sort of way.  While that was a fun series and memorable in itself, one particular thing about that series stands out to me.

Joel Thurston's Message On Ester From April 20th.  Joel put together a message out of Ester about God's Sovereignty and Human Responsibility.  In it he does a masterful job of describing the context of Ester and the history of the nation of Israel.  I remember sitting there listening to it that day thanking God for bring Joel to Journey and giving him his gifts!

Thanks Joel for your dedication to God, your love for His Word, and for taking the time to explain to us what it says!
